The Project
The Citi Ways to Save platform allows users to save money through minimal interaction. Once set up, Ways to Save is intended to make automatic transfers to users' savings accounts through set amount transfers, round-up transfers, and paycheck transfers.

My team was tasked with designing this feature to make it simple for users to sign up for the service, "set it and forget it", and watch their savings grow from an easily managed platform. We started with web responsive designs and later redesigned for the native mobile app as well.

I led UX design for this project and created the main concepts that other designers were able to build off of after I moved on to other projects.

The primary goal in designing this platform was to make a user's automatic savings digestible across three sub-features (Spend & Save, Set & Save, and Earn & Save) while maintaining a relatively shallow experience so they wouldn't get lost in multiple pages.

Below, I'm showcasing various iterations of the main feature dashboard. I also created designs for the entry points and onboarding of this experience (not featured).

Through several UX revisions, we created a more streamlined dashboard system to easily show all the sub-feature specifics as well as a user's overview.
Results
Ways to Save launched in July of 2021, and within a few months, tens of thousands of users onboarded and funded their accounts. The product continues to see growth in engagement and funds transferred.
